It's Here, and It's HOT!!

JR, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

I love thine hard bodied, dark and brooding men.

I love thine long and intricately constructed stories.

I love thine plots, with their twists and turns.

Mostly, I love thy covers, especially when they look like this.

That's right, it's the cover for the upcoming Lover Mine.

Thank you JR, Santa, and Jesus. This is a wonderful early Christmas present! Now if only we didn't have to wait for April for the actual book to come out.

I just found your blog and OMG thank you! BDB is fantastic. I flew through the books over the holidays and am now lost as to what to read next (at least until Ward's next novel is out). I zoomed through Harris' Sookie books as well, but BDB still rules! What next ladies? There are just so many paranormal romance series (and reviews) out there. But since you love BDB as much as I do, I trust your suggestions. Help! (p.s. Cleolinda Jones rocks! I've been following her Journal for about a year now.)

I am right there with Lily, there really is not anything I have found that matches up to the BDB. I recently found a posting that has a bunch of suggestions. I breezed through it and I am adding: Lynn Viehl's Darkyn series and Larissa Ione's Demonica series to my reading list. I will let everyone know if either pans out. :)

Try the Midnight Breeds series by Lara Adrian like Lily suggested. I have heard great things about it and JR Ward herself is quoted on the review pages on Adrian's inside cover.

And if you happen to find something that compares, PLEASE let us know! :D

Hi Sleeper, I'm glad you found us! Any fan of JR's is a friend of ours ;)

Helena and I both zoomed through BDB at the speed of light. I haven't found anything to really compare yet, although I do love Charlaine Harris's books as well.

Have you read Lara Adrian's series yet? I've only finished the first one, but they are good. I've heard them referred to as "the brotherhood light". LOL! They aren't quite that good, but they do help pass the time until the next BDB book comes out. I've also heard that the Nighthuntress Series by Jeaniene Frost is pretty good, but I haven't had the chance to read it yet myself. My reading time has been cut substantially lately. I can tell you some people to definitely avoid, if that would help ;)

Helena, you have any other phenomenal series to add? I'm coming up blank...

Oh, and Cleolinda is amazing! Her movies in 15 minutes always make me laugh out loud!
